What's Under "Pontburn Valley People and Places"?
For those that walked the valley on Sunday, 3rd June, did it again later want to do it again and are busy reading our History Papers, a series of illustrated Walking Guides around the lost history of the Pontburn Valley are now emerging and these can be displayed, either on exhibtion stands, on-line through slide-shows via our website or at any of our partners' organised events.
We need help to produce more of these Walking Guides and Information Leaflets and not only in respect of our heritage.
Hylton and David Marrs who have led our past walk have produced a series of History Guides with more to come. We would like you to add to these with your own. Why not use our Walking Guides, in fact help us produce these by getting out or digging out those old photographs! Tell us what else you find out and might like to share and do this by weay of a comment
And while you're doing this, know that quite soon we might not be able to do this again for a few years if ever. See our further announcements on UK Coal's plans to surface mine the Bradley site and take the time to read their application and add your own comments.
