Village Gossip!
One of the few benefits to be enjoyed of having a double-yellow-lined bus bay across your drive, the only way in and out of a home (another might be a waste-bin for rubbish dropped by folks awaiting the bus) is that we might reasonably expect folks not to park in it. Wrong.
Now most of the time no prob to me but not when trying to get in and out, when the bus can't get in and traffic has to move into oncoming traffic or, like today, when the early-morning road sweeper can't get in to clear the rubbish from the pot-hole (still waiting to be filled in). But sometimes it all get's too much and I just want to start gossip about the damage inconsiderate folks do, especially when already asked to show a bit of consideration. We even had an earlier round of fisticuffs with someone else about this and that's not to be recommended but might be understandable.
So what's the point (apart from the obvious one about double-yellow lines being there for a reason and were put there after "democratic process"?
